Farm Like the World Depends on it
As one of the newer brands in the Tata Consumer Products family Organic India has opened a window for us into the world of health and wellness, and the fast-growing market for natural and organic goods.
Sustainability is genuinely a lifestyle, passion, and purpose for the Organic India team. Their growth journey is rooted in the idea that true wellness goes beyond individual health; it extends to nourishing communities, regenerating the planet, and making choices that resonate with care and consciousness. Passions that marry well with the ethos of TCP brands as we work together for a positive future we can be proud of.

Rodale institute
Rodale Institute is a nonprofit dedicated to growing the regenerative organic agriculture movement through rigorous research, farmer training, and education.
Established in 1947, their groundbreaking science and direct farmer-support programmes serve as a catalyst for change in farming and food production worldwide.
Organic India USA has been donating to the Rodale Institute for nearly a decade as part of their charitable contributions. In addition to financial support, they also donate a significant amount of product to help further their mission and participate in consumer education campaigns they lead.

Caring for farmers
acre by acre
Organic India has grown to a collaborative of nearly 2,000 farmer partners and counting, stewarding 8,500 acres of thriving regenerative organic farms and 370 thousand acres of lush Certified Organic forests with support from the Indian Forest Department.
Fair and direct trade relationships with local family farmers is a core tenet of The Organic India ethos. The cultivation of medicinal, organically certified herbs has allowed farmers to command premium prices‐something that conventional commodity crops typically cannot offer.
To illustrate, in 2005, Dhwajpal became the first Tulsi (Holy Basil) farmer partner at the Rath Farming Co-op. He shares, “Following a successful cultivation cycle, I received 55,000 rupees. Other farmers in the community were surprised I could make such a profit and expressed a keen interest in partnering with Organic India as well.” In recent years, Dhwajpal’s income increased by 42% as a result of adopting new regenerative organic practices and expanding his cultivated land.
Tulsi is now commonly available in the conventional market; however, we pay substantially more than the conventional prices. This has been our practice from the beginning. As pioneers in commercial Tulsi cultivation, Organic India continues to set industry standards, ensuring that farmers receive fair prices.
